Bodrum Museum

Galata Tower

Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi) - 14th century Genoese fortification. Worth climbing to the top for the spectacular view of the city. Open everyday 08:30-20:00.

Ihlamur Mansion

Ihlamur Mansion - The Ihlamur mansion consist of two buildings, the Maiyet and the Merasim residences which are set in a large garden. Built in 1855, then turned into a Tanzimat Period museum in 1950 and, after restoration, were opened to the public. Open from Mondays and Thursdays.

MT. Nemrut

MT. Nemrut - This mountain top burial site was constructed by Antiochus I in the first century BC. Named by UNESCO as the 8th Wonder of the World.

Pamukkale

Pamukkale - which literally means "cotton castle", is a geological formation of stalactite basins and terraced pools filled with thermal waters. Travelers can soak in the mineral-rich water surrounded by sunken Roman columns. Nearby is Hierapolis, commissioned in 190 B.C. by Eumenes II of Pergamum.
